Director & chief Paediatrician

Dr. Avinash Kumar Sahay is a chief consultant of the institute. But the institute has panels of Doctors comprising paediatricians and super specialists of different faculties. Running of this institute is a team work of its consultants and a group of dedicated paramedic staff.

Dr. Sahay after completing his post graduation from RMCH (now known as RIIMS), Ranchi went to Delhi and did his senior residency from a premier institute Maulana Azad Medical College associated Lok Nayak Hospital in the year 2000. With the aim of surviving Bihar, his native place, he came back to Patna and started his journey of humanity care under “Hope Child Care & Research Centre” in 2005. After its closure, he started another centre of excellency under the banner “ Swasth Bachpan Children Hospital Pvt. Ltd.” (SWASTH BACHPAN). He also joined Vardhman Institute of Medical Science, Pawapuri as Professor and Head in the department of Paediatric(2015-2020) and gained lots of popularity among the faculties across the department and among the students due to his noble nature and command on the subject.

Presently he is working as a Professor and Head in the department of Paediatric at Netaji Subhash Medical College and Hospital(NSMCH), Bihta.
